当代艺术的现状,观念艺术与后观念艺术的现状与后现代的的文化环境深深的缠绕在一起,组成了当下的社会文化现实。本次展览是对这一状态的模拟,在历史的时间性在后现代主义之中瓦解为遍地杂音之后,我们面对的是怎样的当下。这是一片被叙述充盈的场域,作品在这里扮演着被抽离创作能动者的空壳。

本次展览的主题由多人在展览前基于其对作品的印象提出,作品的概念产出过程中艺术家小组进行共同讨论,因此在展览之中的作品并未署名,且对观众开放作品的命名与概念阐释。

加缪的西西弗神话中重述了虚无主义中意义的缺席并进行了翻转,将曾经绝望的虚伪终局视为起点,将过程性中的反抗性视为真正的生命意义之源。然而在后现代的话语及艺术话语中,批判性伴随着重述,无数解构与重构之间建立起的是否是一种新的消极重复?哪怕寄希望与这种不断批判的过程性之中,但不断包裹的话语结构,不断堆砌的重述并不会迎来一个真正的赋价值者,因为这一切寻求积极性的尝试都会撞上“这里没有元语言”这面钢铁之墙,所有的东西唯一可见的仅仅剩下单向性,单向的时间流动又仅仅是在重述死亡的迫近,这是这条路前方的可怖图景。

The current state of contemporary art, including conceptual and post-conceptual art, is deeply intertwined with the cultural environment of postmodernism, forming the fabric of our present sociocultural reality. This exhibition is a simulation of that condition, examining how we confront the present after the temporality of history has disintegrated into pervasive noise within postmodernism. It is a space saturated with narratives, where the artworks play the role of hollow shells, detached from their creators' agency.

The theme of this exhibition was proposed by multiple contributors based on their impressions of the works before the exhibition. The conceptual development of the works involved group discussions among the artists, which is why the artworks in the exhibition are not attributed to individual artists. Furthermore, the audience is invited to name and interpret the concepts of the works.

In Camus' "The Myth of Sisyphus," the absence of meaning in nihilism is reconsidered and inverted, with the once-despairing false end viewed as a starting point, and the process of rebellion seen as the true source of life's meaning. However, in the discourse of postmodernism and artistic language, criticism often accompanies repetition. Is the constant deconstruction and reconstruction establishing a new form of passive repetition? Even if one hopes in the process of ongoing critique, the ever-enveloping structures of discourse and the accumulation of retellings do not lead to a true valuation. Every attempt to seek positivity crashes into the iron wall of "there is no meta-language," leaving only a visible one-way flow, a flow that merely reiterates the impending approach of death—a terrifying vision of what lies ahead on this path.
